- Best Small Herd 2009
- Best Stock Bull
Lucy and Kate were delighted to attend the NI Beef Shorthorn Club's Annual Dinner where they received a beautiful trophy and salver for their top placings in the Small Herds and Stock Bull competitions. |
Cattle have been shown at the Highland Show, where Maralin Charmer was Reserve Junior Champion in 2003, and at which he was sold privately to a Scottish Herd.
Maralin Beef Shorthorns is owned by Lucy & Kate McWilliam, who at 5 and 3 years old respectively must be some of the youngest breeder’s around.
Chapelton Neptune is the herd’s Stock Bull. He was Champion at the Royal Show, and is one of the best examples of the breed ever shown. His first crop of calves in the Maralin herd are promising.
